For Immediate Release: Digital Underground’s Money B Releases New Single on Web 3 Platform Gala Music Featuring Guapdad 4000 and Produced by Xcelenc

(Los Angeles, CA – June 25, 2024) – Money B, founding member of the multi-platinum, Grammy nominated group, Digital Underground, released a new single, on the Web 3 platform, Gala Music, “Sit Next To Me” featuring Guapdad 4000, and produced by 2x Grammy Award winning producer, Xcelence.  Money B has been part of shaping hip hop music with hits including Digital Underground’s “The Humpty Dance,” “Kiss U Back,” “Same Song,” and collaborating with Tupac Shakur on “I Get Around.”

“My decades-long relationship with Gala Music’s president, Leila Steinberg, reinforces my belief that this partnership is destined for greatness. Gala Music provides the perfect platform for me to interact directly with Digital Underground fans, gamers, and Web 3 users alike—communities to which I deeply belong. The platform allows me to reward my global supporters with exciting incentives like $Music tokens, exclusive remixes, and other innovative collectibles. This aligns perfectly with my ethos as an early adopter of new technologies,” says Money B.
“Guapdad 4000 reminds me of a younger me,” stated Money B. “Guapdad has a laid-back delivery, smooth witty lyrics, and a style that never restricts him to his geographic originals.  These are descriptions I heard referring to myself as I was coming up in the game.”  The track is driven by a hypnotic baseline, catchy hook and boastful lyrics by Money B and Guapdad 4000, both Oakland natives, and produced by Chicago’s own Xcelence.
“I know how talented Money B is and Gala Music is excited to release ‘Sit Next To Me’ featuring Guapdad 4000 and Xcelence,” stated Leila Steinberg, President of Gala Music. “As a founding member of Digital Underground Money B will be performing ‘Sit Next To Me’ on his Digital Underground tour this summer.”
The opening line sets the tone for the song.  “You can’t sit next to me or walk in my Air Maxes.  I’m an A Lister like B.A. Baracus.”   While displaying light-hearted lyrical gymnastics, Monday B claims that there is an underlying message to always believe in yourself.  Surround yourself with positive influences and remain confident even if it makes others uncomfortable.  The last line in the song sums it up…” If clowns coming around don’t help you elevate, don’t even hesitate, tell ‘em wait!  You can’t “Sit Next To Me”…
