Amada Records and SS Global/Universal Music Group Distribution, are at it again! Yesterday marked the release of the second Hip Hop compilation titled, World Hip Hop Unleashed, Vol. 2, following the 1st billboard charting project (World Hip Hop Unleashed, Vol. 1 ) peaking on itunes, Amazon, Hush Media and Billboard Review at Number 1 on Top World Album charts. Overall the project peaked at number 14 on iTunes, Top 200 (All Genres) landing at number 19 on the official Billboard charts. Both Eric Jones, (CEO of Amada Records) and Tiffany Gaines, (C.O.O of Amada Records/CEO of SS Global) are confident that this second project will climb heights just as well.
World Hip Hop Unleashed, Vol. 2, is spearheaded by prominent names such as Long Beach rapper, O.T. Genasis, of Atlantic Records, rapper, P-Nice out of East Side Long Beach, known for the hit “I’m from Long Beach” feat. legendary Big Tray Deee, $tupid Young, and Zaire Akeem, Pacman Da Gunman of All Money In Records, Yhung T.O. better known as the lead vocalist of the Bay Area-based rap group, SOB x RBE, Grammy nominated rapper, Afroman, and Lord Jamar, commonly recognized as a member of Brand Nubian, who’s album, “One For All” has been regarded as one of the greatest Hip Hop albums of all time.
The album includes production from Grammy winning and Billboard charting Super producer/artist, Mally Mall, who’s worked with acts such as Drake, Post Malone, Usher, Chris Brown, along with Billboard charting/award winning producer/artist, Faided, who’s produced for and worked with legendary names such as Project Pat, Oscar winning, Crunchy Black of Three Six Mafia and Freeway of Roc Nation, just to name a few.
The compilation includes a concoction of music genres from different cultures of hip hop led by some of the hottest artists out of their cities.
From the West coast to the Bay, Down South to the East, from beginning to end you’ll find a bit of everything all in one project.
