
ATLANTA – The Confess Project is a movement committed to training black barbers to be mental health advocates. Lorenzo Lewis the founder of the Confess Project partnered with Killer Mike’s The Swag Shop during Mental Health Awareness Month to instruct barbers on navigating conversations with clients about mental health. David Banner and Justin Blu were the special guests at the grand opening. We spoke exclusively to David and he spoke about fighting for who he really is as a person and his mission to protecting the weak and black men to further his mission. Salute to David Banner, Lorenzo Lewis and Justin Blu for taking the step forward on being the voice that’s needed in the black community.
The Confess Project is a national grassroots movement committed to training black barbers across America to be mental health advocates. They work with Gillette, Andis Company, and the Arthur Blank Foundation (Owner of Atlanta Falcons) to ensure that every young black man is seen and heard and allowed to have the best possible mental health outcomes.
