The Artist:
Prolifikk is the hardest new artist in the rap jungle going ape. Coming to the HHU platform from Michigan, via Cleveland, OH, the rapper declared in his singles that he’s taking “No L’s” according to “God’s Plan”, while grinding hard to produce new content and engage with fans.
Current Projects:
His newest single “On My Body” will be released on April 9th across all streaming platforms. Prolifikk describes the vibe as “gritty, in your face” music that allows the crowd to get hype. The accompanying visuals were shot by Twelve Music Group in Atlanta, GA, and the project is expected to be a viral hit. “I think that one’s going to snap on TikTok. People are going to do more dances to that one,” the artist considered while discussing the song’s projections. After testing the streets’ temperature for genuine feedback, Prolifikk received an unexpected overwhelming reaction. “I played the single in the club the other day to see how the club responded to it, it was a big birthday party, and let’s just say that everybody was going nuts!” Nevertheless, hip hop fans are feeling the vibes.
The Process:
Instead of pushing albums and EPs, Prolifikk is deciding to release singles so that the music community can tap into his true artistry. He stated that next month we should expect “more hype” and an abundance of “hands-on, in-your-face” raw content. Prolifikk’s inspirations stem from both needing an outlet for his adverse experiences as a youth and artists whose lyrics reflected those experiences–such as Eminem and 50 Cent. Being a father is his primary motivation to continue achieving goals. He’s pushing through the pandemic and leaves us with the following: “I’m definitely going to be out here pushing projects, I’m definitely going to be in my fans’ faces and gaining new fans, so y’all can definitely expect more and more from me!”
