Lt. $hyne, fresh out of South Memphis, TN checked in with Hip Hop United about his new single “Realer n Realer,” being a versatile artist, and keeping focused intention. When first listening to this fire track, “real” will instantly come to mind. The lyricism not only reflects skill, but the authenticity of his grind. It’s clear that $hyne’s top priority is securing and maintaining everything he attains for his family to continue flourishing–despite any opinions.
Since elementary years, Lieutenant $hyne has always had a way with words, flowing while his friends would make beats on school tables. The artist has continued to collaborate with other rappers from his hometown including the King of Memphis (Young Dolph), Zed Zilla, Big Moochie Grape, and a host of others. Listeners can expect to hear what he has been through and where he is going, as his lyrics embody his essence. His favorite tracks include “Pardon My Arrival and “Checkmate” (ft. Big Rickey), which gives off a movie soundtrack or TV commercial feature. During pandemic, the Lieutenant has been preparing to $hyne, executing his goals by practically living in the studio. The next task includes shooting visuals for all of his music.
Although rare, when the multifaceted artist has spare time, he finesses drawings and tattoos. He especially appreciates lettering because of his superb penmanship and how deeply he is intrigued with words. $hyne leaves us with the following words of encouragement: “Patience is a virtue; sometimes it can help you, sometimes it’ll help you. Stay down, stay focused, and stay humble. You will win!”
