“Sometimes you gotta end the start knowing that hurt my heart,” Gee begins the track, before eviscerating opps with each following bar. “Little bro ain’t never play a sport but he can work his fork,” he spits. “He’ll never go against big bro, I helped him get his start.” Arkansas breakout Selfpaid Savage then steps up to the mic, claiming: “I put that heat on him but he froze like a popsicle.”
Razor sharp and unflinching, “NEVER NEED” brings fiery rage and raw, palpable honesty. It’s Gee’s first single since dropping his acclaimed album El Toro 2 last summer.
