“Rosie” is the current single out now by rising artist Baby Zay which is streaming on all platforms. At the top of 2023, we can expect a single called “Ghost” as well as a mixtape or EP including collabs with various artists–including Mak Sauce, UPSTRZ, Skooly, and DJ DaDon.
Baby Zay is an artist who appreciates lyricism and progression within the artwork that others create. As a child, he wasn’t into the style of the music during that era, but he realized stories were being told once he really listened to the content. This grasped his attention because he tapped into artists’ imagination while their music sparked his. “If I have an ear for music and I can’t get away from it, I need to tap in.” Not only did he understand where lyricists are coming from, what they’ve seen, and things they’ve been through, he also began sharing his journey.
Rap artist and entrepreneur “Future” is Baby Zay’s main inspiration in the rap game because he relates to him in various ways from the lifestyle to relationships and being lowkey. He would love to work with him some day as well as a range of artists including Young Thug, Lil Baby, Mad Marcc, Lil Darius, Anti the Menace, female artists like Soufside Cheeky and GloRilla, ESTGEE for drill vibes, and seasoned vets like Jeezy and 50 Cent. Baby Zay values the power of creation and embraces the chemistry of how different people can come together to make something epic.
